Understand that not everyone is obligated to be with you in your bad times it's a matter of choice But recently I suffered from something very bad for months and in the end I discovered that those closest to me didn't believe I was really suffering and thought I was trying to get attention Everyone I thought was on my side was just putting on an act in reality they were merely going along with me This made me doubt myself and my mental abilities I started to wonder if they were right what was happening to me was frequent and seemed illogical Perhaps I was imagining things and this increased the danger around me because I stopped taking precautions I completely understand that this kind of thinking came about to ease the shock in their minds and so they wouldn't have to take responsibility for anything This is their right they are not obligated to do so in the end Now that things have calmed down in my life I want to treat them normally but I just feel disgusted by them I can't talk to them or sit with them without getting on my nerves Literally whenever I'm on a phone call with someone or in a gathering I feel sick I thought about cutting them off but they are family I will have to see them on every occasion Among them are my siblings who live with me I try to set boundaries with them but even that's difficult because we're usually all very close I don't want to take out my anger on them because of what happened It's true they made many mistakes but my feelings towards them are exaggerated
